Land Owners
A lesson for you today, to ensure a bright ATV tomorrow.

The Star City ATV Club maintains over 130 miles of ATV trails. Most of these trails travel through someone's private property. Permission from the landowners grant us the privilege to ride through their property. Notice I said privilege. You do not have the right to ride there. The land owners give us permission to ride on their property, which can be taken away at any time. Most of us ride responsibly and stay on marked trails without tearing up the land or venturing off where we don't belong. But there are some that still believe they can ride anywhere, anytime and do anything they desire without fear of repercussions. If you are out riding and see someone not on a marked trail or destroying a land owners property; take a moment to politely relay the message above. If they do not want to listen and continue to act irresponsibly, get their plate numbers and report them to the authorities. We must do this to ensure the future use of our ATV trails and continue gaining the trust of the land owners. If we lose the land owners trust, we would lose an existing trail, and it would certainly destroy any and all hopes of expanding our trail systems. At the bottom of the monthly newsletter it says to:

RIDE SAFE
RIDE RIGHT
RIDE RESPONSIBLY
If we do those three things, we can ensure the future use of these great trails. Can someone you know learn something from this? If so, spread the word. Our youth are the future of this sport. EDUCATE
The Land Owners
We have a number of land owners that give us permission year after year to use their property. We want them to know that we greatly appreciate their generosity. Without them, we would have nothing!
