If this bypass goes through the way council has proposed, it will hurt the northern part of the city of Presque Isle. We need this trail open. If this trail closes, ATVs will have to go to Easton to get to the southern businesses, and it will be the same way going north. Thousands of ATVers and snowmobilers use this trail summer and winter. All we want is for council to take another look at the bypass to see if it’s the best way, and the impact of recreation and businesses in the northern and southern part of the city. We, as an ATV club, and the city of Presque Isle have worked very well together in the past, and we’re looking to working well together in the future. If this is the way the bypass goes, then it will have to be. But please look at it again to see if it is the right way. ATV Club is trying to get one together.
